Hello, my name is Mindy Ann Terence. I was first admitted to practice law in Texas in 2003. In Houston, I primarily practiced as a criminal defense attorney until I departed for Seattle with my husband, my 9-month old daughter and my brother Thomas at the end of 2005.
Upon being admitted to the Washington Bar and following the birth of my son in April 2007, Thomas and I started talking about opening a law office together. We chose space in the Loyal Heights Neighborhood of Seattle and opened our practice on March 28, 2008.
I am fortunate to not only work in Loyal Heights, but to live here as well. I love the neighborhood and am the founder of Loyal Heights Watch, a group that seeks to foster a safe and friendly community here.
My name is Thomas J. Terence. I was licensed to practice law in Washington State in 2007. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I taught history at a public high school in my hometown of Houston. I moved to Seattle three years ago soon after I graduated from law school. Mindy was nearing the end of her law school career when I started mine. One of us had the idea that we should eventually work together and we both agreed that a neighborhood law office would be a great way to do this.
Outside the law, some of my interests are reading historical biographies, blogging and traveling.
